Lobster Mac and Cheese


This is comfort food at its best! Drink with your favorite bottle of wine.

12 Tbl spoons of butter
6 Slices of bread cubed
1 pound of Macaroni or any other pasta you perfer. Ex. shells or penne
1/2 cup of flour
5.5 cups of whole milk
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon of Cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
2.5 cups of cheddar cheese
1/5 cup of gruyère cheese
1/2 cup of parmesean cheese
1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese
Make a small mixture of the cheeses for part of the topping
Bacon
Spinach
Lobster

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Melt 6 tbl spoons of butter. Pour over the 6 slices of bread cubes and toss. Boil macaroni until al dente and drain. Melt another 6 tbl of butter then add flour, don’t burn and mix. In a separate pot bring the whole milk to a boil. Combine whole milk to butter/flour and whisk in once think. Add salt, nutmeg, Cayenne pepper and black pepper. Now add in all the cheeses and keep stirring. Add bacon, spinach and lobster. Now add macaroni and stir. Add mac and cheese to a baking dish. Sprinkle a layer of the four cheeses and add the bread crumb topping. Bake for 40-60 minutes until brown, then let sit for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
